I’m afraid the lighting doesn’t really do these justice, but that’s definitely an orange stripe on black and gray. That makes these close enough to being Halloween-themed in my book, or at least Halloween-adjacent.
Tomorrow begins the primetime show for Halloween socks, though, and I’m not going to lie, I can’t wait. I don’t guess that most of the readers following me this year have been reading from before I started this socky silliness, but I know there’s a few that have. I hope you’ll remember that of all the holidays, Halloween is, and always has been, my favorite. In fact, it’s the reason I bought my first pair of “fun” socks, more than 25 years ago.
I’ll likely have more green-and-red socks come the end of the year than I’ve got black-and-orange now, but Halloween is unchallenged when it comes to favorite days of the year. The next two days selections are almost shoo-ins to be socks I keep forever.
