As the owner of a “life”-type blog, in which I basically carry on about aspects of my life that I hope others might identify with or be entertained by, it’s come to my attention that I’m supposed to be posting photos of pretty landscapes or sunsets on days when I have nothing else compelling to offer.  Seriously, it’s like in the blogging bylaws or something; look it up.

The problem here is, well, I’m one of the three people left on the planet that lacks a camera on his phone.  Yes, and that includes the tribal New Zealand bushman.  They spend half of their day collecting each other’s souls via iPhone pic and posting them to Twitter and Facebook.

Admittedly, I do have a digital camera, but it’s more than five years old (ancient! decrepit!), slow, and probably doesn’t do any better than 4 Megapixels (oh, the shame!).  Also, it’s ginormous, which means I don’t exactly keep it on hand to spontaneously capture any images of natural beauty I might happen across.  I wouldn’t want to look like a tourist, after all.

So, where does that leave us?  Well, without any fancy images to show you on days when I’ve got nothing else to ramble on about.  I guess, then, you can consider this my apology to you, for not abiding the bylaws of bloggery.

I hope no one suspends my domain hosting over it. I’d be shamed by all my geek buddies.

Hey, wait, you know what?  Maybe I can give you a pretty sunset!

Here you go, enjoy:

Have a great weekend!
