Back to work today for us suckers who don’t get the summer off like my kids. I actually had the good fortune to attend a manufacturing automation seminar today, where I got to see plenty of robots doing stuff that seemed impossible 10 years ago but most Roombas can do now.
The future, it is a weird place.
Anyway, I liked these socks for the event, as the crosses seemed like the kind of reference mark an automated machine might use to figure its way around. Of course, come to find out the actually use sonar, but that’s neither here nor there.
