We say goodbye to animal week today. This afternoon was the Daughter’s Day Out with Mom and Dad so, of course the socks of the day had to be appropriate. She wanted to lunch at the fancy fondue place, which meant I was required to dress like I wasn’t one questionable decision away from utter ruin.
A collared shirt was called for, and I had a new plaid one in the closet at the ready. Being red and gray, this gray-and-white checked was a good match. Sure, they’re a little bit like a Finishing Line, but that’s okay too given that we’re at the end of Animal Week and the start of something new.
