I would be unforgivably remiss (and likely unforgiven) if I let today slip without taking a moment to wish a very happy 70th birthday to the best mother I ever had, Grammy Puddin.
The family went out and enjoyed a delightful dinner this evening in honor of the event, were I took full advantage of the opportunity to horrify my wife with steak tartare (mmmm…raw meat dip) followed by consuming a piece of ribeye the size of a baseball glove.
I wish I would have had a pair of socks perfect for Mom’s day, but I’ve yet to find a pair of butterfly socks. These I thought were a wonderful stand in instead, with those very debonair top hats, canes, and bow ties.
These swanky devils are for you, Mom. I hope your birthday was every bit as swanky and wonderful. Happy Birthday and we love you!
Right back at you, Andrew!!!! As Becca would agree I am truly #blessedbeyondmeasure
