Today’s socks are a nod to the character who first made ventilators cool, and simultaneously terrifying, the one and only Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith.
Not lying, Vader actually did scare me quite a bit as a kid. I was always tense and nervous when he was onscreen, and one year at Halloween, I refused to go up to one house for candy where there was an adult in full-on Darth getup. I think part of the reason the Star Wars prequels make me a little sad is because they took away that terror for me but humanizing the man behind the mask.

I have to say I never thought I would find it interesting to know what socks a person was wearing everyday! 🙂 Kudos to whoever buys these for you because most of them are really cool.

I was terrified of “The Blob”. I think that was the name of the movie. A dark substance was taking over the world, and it showed neighborhoods like your own being swallowed up.
